iCal Sync makes it easy for properties to benefit from the ability to publish availability information to Vacation Rental channels. iCal Sync provides functionality through XML messaging to sync SMS|Host unit availability and unit types to build availability calendars in the WorldNXT Lodging Booking Engine. Those availability calendars can be accessed by vendors, like HomeAway and Airbnb, using “iCal links” to import unit type or individual unit availability calendars, and sync them with these vacation rental providers. (Note that other vendors/channels can also use iCal links and can utilize this functionality as well.)
iCal Sync makes it easy for resorts and owners to increase their reach to potential guests and make their units more accessible. By providing near real-time messaging to SMS|Host, iCal Sync can keep calendars and availability up to date and current, eliminating the need for a manual process. This exciting feature is available as a simple add-on to the WorldNXT Lodging Booking Engine – enabling our customers to further bolster a competitive direct booking strategy.
