STOWE, VT – January 24th, 2023 – Digital Reception is available in both the Apple and Google Play app stores!
Digital Reception is designed to replace the printed and signed registration forms while your guest check-in. Additionally, it provides a digital registration option for SMS|Host customers. The digital Reception App allows tablets to act as a front desk to make the check-in experience quicker and safer for guests and staff.
When using Digital reception, staff will select a reservation, and SMS|Host will send a link to digital reception with the registration card. The link between the registration card and the device will prevent the user from re-generating a registration card for the same reservation. It will also keep any other workstation from sending a registration card to this device while it already has one pending.
Guests will be able to see their reservation and confirm all the details are accurate. Then, they can sign to check-in right on the app. Upon receiving this data, SMS|Host will generate an R&R registration card and merge the data provided by the guest into it along with the signature image.
Digital Reception as a product consists of a mobile app and an XML interface to SMS|Host. The app is customizable and will allow you to change the background image, select prompts, allow signatures, and more.
The latest version 20.4 is available for both Apple® and Android devices.
