STOWE, VT. – August 17, 2010 — The SMS|Host Users Group announces the 2010 SMS|Host Users Group Conference, October 31 – November 4, 2010 at Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, California.
The Host Users Group formed in 1989 to assist members in maximizing the utilization of the SMS|Host property management system from Springer-Miller Systems, Inc. Distinguished as the only users group within the hospitality technology industry to be run by the users, for the users. Through HUG, members interact and share knowledge and ideas on the challenges and opportunities that they face every day in their hospitality business.
SMS|Host users from properties all around the globe will gather at the beautiful Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, California for four days of networking, education, and training. The conference agenda features more than 70 sessions targeted to the different disciplines within a hotel: front desk, reservations, information technology, revenue management, golf/spa/recreation, food and beverage, housekeeping/engineering, and accounting.
At the Host Users Group annual conference sessions and discussion groups are led by SMS|Host users as well as top product experts from Springer-Miller. This unique user-led forum offers users the opportunity to learn best practices from real-life experiences and case studies presented by their hospitality industry peers.
